I think gamification is a way of life for my kids - the day after I listened to this episode we were out for a walk and my daughter started assigning points to various ground features I could run over with the stroller :D. I believe it was along the lines of one hundred points for manhole covers, minus a point for "no bike" signs and something else that gave me more hearts, but I can't remember what it was - since my daughter is four and was doing the math, I think we ended with about a million points ;).
Thanks for your comment, Amy! This is an awesome story. I think your daughter is going to be quite the gamer (if she isn't already!) And a million points sounds fantastic. :)
